''Dapidodigma demeter'', the Eastern Virgin, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, Sudan, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Uganda.〔(Afrotropical Butterflies: Lycaenidae - Subtribe Iolaina )〕 The habitat consists of forests. The larvae feed on ''Albizia'' and ''Homalium'' species.
